Do you take insurance?
Caring Companions Kalamazoo is not able to take private insurance such as Blue Cross/Blue Shield at this time. We work with long-term care insurance and accept private pay for services.
How do I sign up?

What services do you provide?
We provide non-medical home care services. We help with household chores such as dusting, washing dishes and cleaning the bathroom. We do laundry and can even provide transportation to doctor’s appointments or shopping and errands. We will provide medication reminders. We also may help your loved one with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. We provide companionship and respite care for those with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
How soon can I get started?
Take the first step and schedule a free assessment here. We will come to your home and meet with you to discuss your needs. Then, together, we will build a care plan for your loved one that reflects their individual home care needs. Once your in-home care needs are determined, we will then schedule one of our trained companions to come to your home and provide assistance.
Are caregivers insured?
Yes. All of our Caring Companions are our own employees, not subcontractors. We carry liability insurance, workers compensation, and we are bonded.
How do I pay?
We offer a variety of payment options. We accept credit cards, ACH payments and online payments.
How often am I billed for homecare services?
Caring Companions Kalamazoo invoices its clients on a weekly basis. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice each week.
What are your after hours policies?
Our phones are staffed on evenings, weekends, and holidays. You may reach our office 24/7, 365 days a year and you will always speak to a live person.
Is there a contract for services?
We do not have a contract. We use a Service Agreement which allows us to provide home-care service to you for as long as you would like. You are not locked into any certain time frame of days, weeks or months. We know in-home care needs change; we want to continue to be flexible enough to accommodate any changes in service that may occur.
